Trivitron Medical System Brings Jackson Spinal Table to Apollo Hospital

The cost per equipment is Rs 40 lakh

Trivitron, one of the largest Indian medical technology company in association with Mizuho OSI US has launched Jackson Spinal Table— one of its kind in South Asia, at Apollo Hospitals, Chennai. The Jackson Spinal Table will be used for spinal, joint replacement and orthopedic trauma surgery. The cost per equipment is Rs 40 lakh.

Jackson Spinal Table is one of the premier surgical tables from the unique modular table system. It relieves the surgical team from manual pressure points during the surgery and the machine allows for periodic massage action automatically. The Jackson spinal also stimulates hip and thigh pressure points during the surgery and facilitates safe and efficient 360 degree rotation. The machine is designed by comprehending patient safety and comfort.

Dr Sajan Hegde, Consultant Spine Surgeon, Apollo Hospitals, said, "We at Apollo always believe in going the extra mile to achieve higher level of patients' satisfaction. We are extremely happy to be the first to install the Jackson Spinal table in South Asia. The Jackson Spinal Table with its advanced technology allows anterior, posterior, lateral and oblique view of the patient intraoperatively and hence is preferred by surgeons during spinal surgery."
