Located in the midst of Bangalore city with easy access to patients, the Hospital is considered amongst the largest and best equipped orthopaedic Hospital in India. According to Dr Chandy, "The Hospital today is a major trauma center. It has two exclusive joint replacement operation theaters with laminar air flow which gives it almost zero infection rate."

"Hosmat owns the land and building, hence we do not incur any land cost and regularly hold cost-cutting meetings where we give targets. Each department has to balance its budget. All these measures with sustained growth give Hosmat viability for future," says Dr Chandy.

Hosmat has tie-ups with 175 hospitals, which provide support, education and visits by our consultants. "Hosmat is planning to expand to peripheral centers and lease out five hospitals in the periphery of Bangalore which will be in place in 2009," informs Dr Chandy.
