Little Flower Hospital, Angamaly
Little Flower Hospital has a history of seven decades of
service. It was started in 1936 as a small dispensary with one doctor, one compounder,
a nurse-cum-mid wife and a ward boy. Today, it has grown into a multi-speciality
Hospital with 850 beds and 22 departments, receiving 1700 patients in its OPD
everyday.
Significant Achievements in the Last Year
The
not-for-profit Hospital has added a new super-specialty block with state-of-the-art
infrastructure for services in cardiology, neuro-surgery, urology and nephrology.
It also has upgraded itself with 20 new hi-tech OTs which are based on German
technology. Each theatre is built with an investment of around Rs 30 lakh.
