can double response rate in cancer therapy’
Hyperthermia, the use of heat as a modality of treatment
of cancer, when applied by itself and in conjunction with
radiation, chemotherapy and surgery has still not found its
place in medicine despite several randomised studies demonstrating
that the improvements in treatment outcome by additional hyperthermia
can be very substantial.
